Who is WELCA? What Does WELCA Do?
The Women of the ELCA (WELCA) offers opportunities for women to meet for fellowship and service.
All women of St. John's are considered members and are always welcome to attend the monthly meetings. Some of our activities and outreach include:

The Women of the ELCA (WELCA) offers opportunities for women to meet for fellowship and service.
All women of St. John's are considered members and are always welcome to attend the monthly meetings. Some of our activities and outreach include:
- collecting and organizing various items for "Mission Central" in Miller Hall
- cooking and serving funeral luncheons as needed
- coordinating and providing leadership for the annual ThankOffering services
- making Easter baskets and Christmas stockings for our shut-ins
- sending get well cards and notes to our shut-ins
- sponsoring our missionary throughout the year
