Confirmation Classes

Confirmation is a two-year program that prepares 7th to 9th graders to reaffirm their baptismal vows and become members of the church.  One year focuses on the Bible and the other year focuses more on Lutheran history, theology, and practice.  Youth can join on a rolling basis and do not need to start at the beginning of a specific year.

The Confirmation journey also sometimes includes retreats, projects, volunteering, baking bread for communion, or field trips.  In 2022, the Confirmation class visited Ohav Shalom Jewish Temple and the Lutheran Synod Office to meet Bishop Kurt Kusserow.
